Welcome to Tyrrany of the Ice King! In this game you will defend your kingdom from an onslaught of enemy forces. Build towers to defend your kingdom and fight back against the dreaded Ice King, Kryos!

Archery Tower

A fast-shooting tower made to take down smaller foes quickly.

ABILITY: Shoots 3 arrows at enemies in quick succesion.

Mage Tower

A slower tower focused on weakening enemies for the other towers.
他のタワーがもっと簡単に敵を倒すために敵に魔法弾丸を放つタワー。
ABILITY: Like the Archery Tower, shoot 5 quick shots at your opponents..

Bomb Tower

A very slow dower that drops bombs that deal damage in an area.

ABILITY: Drop a massive bomb dealing damage across most of the map.
アビリティー:辺で敵をダメージに受けるために凄く大きなボムを落とす。
To use a tower's special ability, simply select the tower while in combat. But during the ability cooldown, the tower cannot attack!
タワーのアビリティーを使う方:戦闘でタワーを選ぶ。でもクールダウン間中にタワーは攻撃を出来ない。

Overall、 am I satisfied with this entry?
I'm happy-ish with it. My week ended up being busy, so the whole gameplay loop was made on Sunday alone, from around 2:00-8:30 PM. So for the amount I was able to work, I'm happy! But knowing what had to be cut makes me a bit dissapointed.
There were going to be two more units, the shield generators and the speed totems. They're pretty self-explanatory. But I didn't have time to program their abilities, so I just decided to cut them. Also while I am happy I managed to get a fully-fuctioning game in, I wasn't able to finish mechanics like upgrading and selling towers. That sucks because I programmed the mechanics in, but I just didn't have enough time to program the UI for it. The wizard tower was going to also have a more unique ability, but I didn't have time to program that so I just copied the Archery Tower's ability code (It was litereally like 8:35 when I did that).
Also the biggest thing that got cut was the Ice King himself, Kyros, would fight you on the 15th wave as a final boss of sorts. He would have a variety of powers, indluding freezing your towers in ice! But unfortunitely. all that remains of him though is his sprites in the game files.
Out of all my game jam games, this one is the most likely to get a "deluxe" or full edition actually made. If I find a day or two to do so, I probably will, but no promises.
So yeah, a solid 4/5 game jam entry for me. I'm happy with my work, just a tad dissapointed knowing what could have been
